Portola Valley can be described as a picture perfect place to live.  It is a small town with less than 5000 residents,  yet is only miles from the prestigious Stanford University.  Marveled at for its tree packed hills and its emphasis on environmental values, Portola Valley boasts a spectacular series of trails, scenic roadways and natural beauty.  Portola Valley is the embodiment of life in simpler times when the small town feel wasn’t simply a “feel”, but a reality.  This is a city rich in history and home to wonderful people.
